Rays beat Brewers 4-3 to stay alive in the World Series
Milwaukee still leads 3-1. Game 5 is Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET, on Sportsnet in Canada.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. —
The Tampa Bay Rays stayed alive in the World Series on Tuesday night, scoring twice in the bottom of the 12th inning to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 at Tropicana Field. Milwaukee leads the series 3-1. 13
Junior Caminero reached on a throwing error by third baseman Joey Ortiz, Liam Hicks followed with a hit and Jonny DeLuca drove in the tying run with a single to centre. Chandler Simpson's single loaded the bases before pinch-hitter Ben Williamson chopped the first pitch he saw from rookie Shane Drohan into right field to score pinch-runner Nick Fortes. 34
Rookie shortstop Cooper Pratt had put Milwaukee three outs from the title with a solo home run off Ian Seymour in the top of the 12th. Pratt finished with four hits. 35
The only previous team to win a World Series game with a walk-off while facing a sweep was the 1910 Chicago Cubs. 3
How it unfolded
Facing Brewers starter Dustin May, Simpson doubled in DeLuca from first in the second inning for a 1-0 lead, Tampa Bay's first lead since Game 2. Pratt tied it with an RBI double in the fourth. 34
The Rays went back ahead in the bottom of the fourth when third baseman David Hamilton missed a tag on Caminero and threw wildly to first, letting him score. Hamilton tied it with a solo homer in the fifth, on the 74th and final pitch from Rays starter Griffin Jax. 35
Tampa Bay's bullpen allowed one run over eight innings. Closer Bryan Baker, who led the majors with 41 saves, threw two scoreless innings in his first appearance of the Series. Milwaukee's Aaron Ashby ran his streak to 18 scoreless relief innings to start the postseason, passing Andrew Miller's 2016 record of 16. 35
History either way
Neither franchise has won a championship. The Brewers are trying to become the first team to sweep both a best-of-seven League Championship Series and the World Series; the Rays are trying to become the first team to come back from 0-3 down in the Fall Classic. 23
Milwaukee won the first two games at home 3-2 and 5-4, then routed the Rays 10-1 in Game 3, a game that included a World Series record eight two-out runs in a single inning. Of the 25 teams to trail a best-of-seven World Series 3-0, none has reached a Game 6. 124
How to watch in Canada
Game 5 is Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET in St. Petersburg, the Rays' final home game of the season. Sportsnet is MLB's exclusive English-language broadcaster in Canada for the postseason, and TVA Sports carries the World Series in French. If needed, Games 6 and 7 are Friday and Saturday in Milwaukee. 123
